Start your day with this healthy and nutrition packed green smoothie breakfast bowl infused with matcha green tea. It’s vegan, it’s gluten free and it’s loaded with flavors.
I normally have a smoothie every single morning. Sometimes I make smoothies as a breakfast meal or as a smoothie bowl. It’s a fun way of enjoying a smoothie with lots of add-ons and various toppings such as dried nuts, seeds and fresh fruits.
This breakfast bowl takes only 5 mins to prepare, and it’s super healthy and delicious.
01 frozen bananas(sliced),
01 unfrozen banana(sliced),
3/4 cup of milk (coconut milk or any plant based milk),
01 tsp of matcha powder,
1/2 tea spoon of ground flax seeds,

01. Add frozen and unfrozen banana slices, 1/2 cup of milk, matcha powder, maple syrup and flax seeds into a blender and blend until smooth. (You can also add some protein powder if you have any)
02. Scrape down sides of the blender (you will have to repeat this a few times) and add the remaining milk, blend until it becomes smooth and creamy. The texture of the smoothie should be in soft serve consistency, like a thick purée or a McDonald’s ice cream.
03. Scoop out everything into a bowl and add choice of your toppings. I’ve added original granola from 3×3 Granola, dried nut mix, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds from Bohemian Quest and some fresh bananas.
